As the 2010 World Series ended, with San Francisco closer Brian Wilson striking out the Rangers Nelson Cruz to give the Giants the pennant, cheers erupted all over Northern California.  Outside of the champagne filled locker room though, there may have been no happier place in San Francisco than at 21st Amendment Brewery and Restaurant.

Owner Shaun O’Sullivan and his gang were not just celebrating the World Series victory but also a beer bet won over Rahr & Sons Brewing in Fort Worth, Texas.  The two breweries placed a beer bet on the outcome of the World Series with the loser donning the winner’s jersey and drinking the winner’s beer.

Here’s the bet:

If the Texas Rangers win the World Series (highly unlikely in my opinion, but I digress), I will wear a Texas Ranger’s shirt, drinking a Rahr and Sons delicious beer outside of San Francisco’s AT&T Park. And when the San Francisco Giants beat the Texas Rangers (they will), Fritz will be wearing a Giants shirt and drinking a 21st Amendment delicious canned craft beer outside of Arlington Field.
