D'Anbino Guitar Wine Tote Giveaway

A wine tote shaped like a guitar case looks like one of those nifty items you find in the Sharper Image catalog. And then when you find out it’s $150.00, it’s a lot less nifty. Well, D’Anbino Vineyards & Cellars have one for just 30 bucks!
Mike Rubino, co-owner of D’Anbino created the item specifically to promote his vineyard. “I’ll take all the credit. To be honest, I had the idea that it would be cool, and it was just a matter of finding the right manufacturer. Someone I found on the internet located in China was manufacturing a similar item.”
Rubino designed the wine guitar case to highlight the two tributaries that flow through his business – music and wine. Two related families make up D’Anbino, the D’Andrea’s and the Rubino’s. Both families come from music. Rubino is a composer who has scored numerous trailers and most recently a video game for Sony. Rubino plays piano, his dad Carmen is a bass player, Uncle John D’Andrea is the sax player. At their tasting room the families blend together and play music which pair with the wines. “Sauvignon blanc — light and fruity, so we might do a light jazz tune. With our Cab — some Rolling Stones. Heavy, angry music you would notice the acidity in the wine. If you don’t buy into it, you’ve still had a good time, you’ve drank some wine.”
On the wine side, the families have been growing since 1995 and creating their own vintage since 2002. With labels like “Orchestration” and “Symphony” they continue to highlight the family’s unique music angle. The wine/guitar case is just another variation on a theme, perfect for your next picnic at the Hollywood Bowl. ~ D.R. Stewart for BoozeNews
