Steins of Science, created by a UC Berkeley physicist, are drinking mugs made from heavy-duty lab flasks. Just think how chilly beer stays when it’s wrapped in a vacuum “100,000 times more powerful than that of your average thermos.”

The Steins, which come in a variety of sizes, surround your liquids with two layers of silvered glass, apparently putting less scientific thermoses to shame in terms of keeping your hot liquids hot and your cool liquids cool. Serious science-minded beer drinkers owe it to themselves to investigate. It’s research!
