Bar Keeper, in Silverlake, received their long-awaited liquor license…YAY! Congrats! and will finally be  selling what promises to be an exciting array of artisanal spirits. Joe Keeper said that they would be stocking their beautiful cabinets and be ‘open for business’…spirits business that is, Friday, October 1.

If you’ve never been to Bar Keeper and you consider yourself a sophisticated home mixologyist, – okay, even if you’re just getting started – then you really need to drop by and see their fabulous array of bar tools, gadgets, books  and collectible vintage barware.

And, because the Governator signed a bill that will allow consumers to sample liquor at distilled spirits outlets,  Joe will be able to provide samplings as of January 1. Just a 1/2 oz. of 3 tastes, but, hey, that’s better than an empty glass and just your imagination.
