STOCKHOLM—Danish brewer Carlsberg A/S raised its full-year operating profit forecast Tuesday as it reported a 31% rise in third-quarter net profit, but warned of price increases and challenging market conditions.
The maker of Tuborg, Carlsberg and Kronenbourg beer said net profit rose to 1.95 billion kroner ($364.3 million) from 1.49 billion kroner a year earlier. Revenue rose 8.3% to 17.08 billion kroner.
Carlsberg lifted its full-year operating profit guidance, which is expected to be more than 10 billion Danish kroner ($1.86 billion) from around 10 billion kroner previously. It still expects full-year net profit to rise by around 40%.
