Perfect timing. The Jewish New Year and a kosher vodka from Israel, AVIV 613, equals a marriage made in heaven! Or marketing! The ‘bride’, in this case, is a beautiful bottle…heavy, triangular and even more lovely frosted right out of the freezer. An attention getter for sure.
And AVIV has a great story. Here it is straight from the bottle: “AVIV 613 Vodka is crafted by a family of master vodka artisans whose Russian ancestors moved to the Kabbalistic town of Tzvat, Israel in 1824. It is created using a 6.1.3. formulation process from a masterful blend of wheat, barley, olives, figs, dates, grapes and pomegranates. Its fresh, crisp water is sourced from Israel’s natural aquifers and the Sea of Galilee which contributes to its smoothness. AVIV is Hebrew for spring, symbolizing renewal.”
Ok, I’m no vodka maven so I had trouble identifying all the fruits and grains. Were they evident? Um, not so much but it’s vodka! The bottle and packaging are fabulous so it makes for a lovely addition to your bar…especially for Rosh Hashanah! What’s not to love?!
