Sensing a theme? Any which way, 2010 will go down as a memorable, bizarro vintage in California.

It boils down to one word: Cold. As in cold spring, cold summer. Only the arrival of warm autumn days allowed tensions over 2010 to ease a bit. Even so, vintners have been scrambling all week to grab their remaining grapes before a rainy spell.
