Tasting Wine Blind…Startling Results

Does the color of wine affect how we taste? You bet, according to an amusing experiment carried out by the BBC’s food blogger Stefan Gates and food scientist Alice Pegg. They cheekily added red food coloring to a white wine, pinot gris, and then gave it to a group of wine tasters to see if they could notice the difference.
