• California: Beer-Tasting Bill Signed By Gov. Brown
A San Diego lawmaker’s bill, which will make it easier to install beer-tasting rooms in breweries, was signed into law Monday by Gov. Jerry Brown.AB 1014, authored by Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher, R-San Diego, exempts brewers from California Retail Food Code requirements, putting them on the same footing as the operators of wine-tasting rooms.
